Celebrations held to mark the completion of works to Grade II Listed Georgian Hall

July saw the close out of a whirlwind project undertaken by the Practice, on behalf of a private client, to completely restore and refurbish a significant architecturally and historically important Grade II Listed Georgian Hall. Works included: the repair/replacement of all it’s 80 plus windows and doors; extensive repairs to the roof including an oval shaped domed skylight; the removal of a Victorian conservatory from the houses’ main façade and the subsequent replacement of the original pediment roof line and entrance door; new mechanical, plumbing and electrical services were run throughout including an ‘intelligent home’ system (Control4); a new Orangery and garage extension was added to the East wing; the contract also undertook the complete fit-out / design for the interior of the house including its eleven bathrooms, kitchen, gym, cinema room and many of the guest and family rooms within the home; the gardens and land around the Hall were also extensively re-landscaped, including a new walled garden, to maximise upon the houses’ stunning views and setting

The practice working, in conjunction with Dobson Construction, managed to deliver this unique project for our client in record time (just 12 months on site). We are extremely proud of the work undertaken in helping to preserve this important building for generations to come.
