Planning was today granted for major refurbishment works to be undertaken at Genesis House, situated on a key site along Milton Keynes’ Midsummer Boulevard. The site enjoys a premium position with good visibility from several major approach directions into the city centre.
The scheme approved proposes the complete removal of the existing building façade to allow for a new glazing and cladding system to be installed. Completely reinventing the image of the building and upgrading significantly the environmental performance of the envelope. The works also include a re-planning of the central service core and an enlarged new reception as well as the formation of an A3 unit along part of the buildings ground floor.
