Saturday saw the public consultation day for Thorp Arch Estates’ proposed 1100 home new village development. Over 120 local residents came out to review the plans and talk to the team about the development. The day proved highly successful, with the team gaining insight and understanding as to the key issues for residents over further developments in their neighbourhood. New highway and traffic alleviation schemes were discussed and found much support among local residents as a major benefit to maintaining village life.
