Work on site at Blum UK’s HQ is stepping up apace as the complex task of “weaving in” the new steel structure required for the three storey atrium extension gets underway. The process involves the challenge of erecting the steel structure within the envelope of the existing (and still operational) warehouse. Large specialist pieces of lifting equipment have been brought in to undertake this delicate task, operating at clearance tolerances of only a few millimetres, the precision skills of the operators are being put to the test.
